Honest visa information for Pakistanis — here's how we make it

PakVisa Guide is a free, independent visa information site for Pakistani passport holders, built by MT Mughal. No sign-ups, no hidden charges, no "agent fees" — just clear, verified answers to the questions every Pakistani traveler asks.

Who is behind PakVisa Guide?

MT Mughal — Founder. PakVisa Guide started with a simple frustration: visa information for Pakistanis is either buried in confusing embassy websites, hidden behind expensive agents, or flat-out wrong on social media. One bad source can cost someone a refused visa, a lost fee, or a flight they cannot board. This site exists to fix that — one verified page at a time.

Today it covers 70+ country guides, a trip cost calculator that budgets in PKR, a free passport report, side-by-side country comparisons, and a verified visa-free and visa-on-arrival list — all free, all the time.

We are not a travel agency, a visa agent, or a government body, and we do not sell visas or jobs abroad. That independence is the point: our only loyalty is to the accuracy of the information.

How we verify every result on this website

Six steps stand between a visa rule and the page you are reading:

1

Official sources first — always

Every country guide starts with the official embassy, consulate or Ministry of Foreign Affairs / immigration department website of the destination country. If a claim cannot be traced to an official source, it does not go on the site.

2

Cross-checked against IATA Timatic

Airlines verify every passenger against the IATA Timatic database at check-in. We cross-check our summaries against Timatic-based data, because if the airline refuses to board you, the trip is ruined — even when the embassy page says otherwise.

3

Independent index cross-checks

Headline numbers (like how many destinations a Pakistani passport can access) are cross-checked against the Henley Passport Index and Passport Index, and we tell you when reputable sources disagree instead of hiding it.

4

Fees converted to PKR — with dates

Visa fees are shown in Pakistani Rupees using current exchange rates, with the conversion date recorded, so you can budget in the currency you actually earn in.

5

"Last verified" dates on every page

Every data page carries a "last verified" date. When we re-check a page, the date moves. If a page has an old date, treat it as a sign to double-check with the embassy — that honesty is deliberate.

6

Quarterly re-verification + real traveler reports

Visa rules change without warning, so the most-visited pages are re-verified every quarter, and big announcements (like Qatar suspending visa-on-arrival for Pakistanis in April 2026) are checked and added as they happen.

What PakVisa Guide is not

  • We are not an embassy, consulate or government agency — we explain their rules in simple words.
  • We do not process visas, sell appointments, or offer jobs abroad — anyone claiming to do that in our name is fake.
  • We are not legal advisors — final answers always come from the embassy/consulate and your airline.
  • Visa rules change without notice — even verified pages can be overtaken by events, which is why every page shows its "last verified" date.

Spotted an outdated fee, a changed rule, or a mistake? Use the chat assistant (Sara) on any page or the WhatsApp button — real traveler reports are one of our best sources, and every report is re-checked against official sources before the page is updated.
